HOW WE GOT STARTED

Welcome to Shiloh International Products (SIP), our family-run online marketplace, where passion meets purpose!

Our story began with a calling to serve impoverished communities in Ethiopia through Be There Ministries, founded by me, Mel. Now, we’re excited to expand our impact through fair and ethical trade practices and helping to provide sustainable livelihoods.

Our family sources high-quality, organic coffee from Ethiopia’s Guji region, while also crafting beautiful leather earrings. Meanwhile, our friends Gelila and Mathias bring our designs for leather goods to life with their skilled hands, creating the stunning Shiloh bags. My sister in Christ, Mary, and I have joined forces to design these unique pieces.

The name Shiloh means “place of peace,” and we thought it was the perfect name for my first granddaughter… and for our business!
